Why I made it
The same questions, again and again
My clients keep asking me the same things. How do I change this page? What should I write here? What is a domain name?
Instead of answering them one at a time, I record each answer once and share it with everyone. I have lived in Thailand for almost 30 years and I started out in graphic design, so I like to keep things clear and simple.

How it works
Courses hold sections, and sections hold lessons. You can jump in anywhere.

Each course teaches one skill from the beginning. Start with whatever you need most.
Follow the sections
Courses are split into small sections so you can stop and start.
Watch the video
Every lesson is a few minutes. Follow the written steps underneath as you go.
Tick it off
Mark the lesson complete. Your progress is remembered on your device.

Your progress and privacy
When you tick a lesson as complete, LairdSkills remembers it using your own browser. Leave and come back tomorrow or next month and your ticks and progress bar will still be there.
It stays on your device. I cannot see it and it is never sent anywhere, so there is nothing to sign up for and no password to remember.
A note about links
Some links on this website are affiliate links. If you buy through one, I may earn a small commission, at no extra cost to you. I will always label them, so you can see which ones they are. The lessons stay free either way.
What works

When it can be lost
- You switch to a different phone or computer
- You clear your browser data or use a private window
- Safari clears it after about a week away
Nothing bad happens if it goes. You just start from the first lesson again.
