In writing

In a few words

A business email address uses your own domain, such as you@yourbusiness.com. It looks more professional than a free address and people trust it more. You can get one from your host, or from a service such as Google Workspace or Microsoft 365. Whichever you choose, email needs its own settings in your DNS, and the company will tell you exactly what to add.

Words explained

Business email: an email address that ends with your own domain name.

Mailbox: the place where one person’s email is kept.
