In writing

In a few words

A website builder is a tool that lets you make a website without writing code. You add your words and pictures, choose how it looks and publish it. WordPress, Wix and Squarespace are three well known ones. They all do the same basic job, so the best choice is the one you find easiest to use, at a price you are happy with, and one that lets you take your website with you if you ever want to leave.

Words explained

Code: the instructions that tell a computer how to show a website.

Publish: making your website visible to everyone online.
