In writing

In a few words

To make your domain show your website, you connect the two. Your host gives you a few details, and you enter them in your domain’s DNS settings. It is a bit like telling the post office where you have moved to. Do one change at a time, then wait a few minutes and visit your address to check it works. If it does not work straight away, give it a little longer before changing anything else.

Words explained

DNS settings: the control panel where you tell your domain where to send visitors.

www: the front part some addresses start with. You can set it to take visitors to your main address.

I'm still building the lessons, so some pages are placeholders for now. The full courses are coming soon.
