Change the words on a page using the block editor, and learn how to undo mistakes.

Steps

  1. Go to Pages, hover over the page you want and click Edit.
  2. Click on any text and type to change it. Each paragraph is a block.
  3. Click the plus button to add a new block, such as a heading or a button.
  4. Click Update to save your changes, then view the page to check them.

In a few words

To change the words on a page, go to Pages, find the page and click Edit. Click on any text and type. Every paragraph, heading and picture is a block, and you can add new ones with the plus button. Click Update to save. If you make a mistake, press Ctrl and Z, or Cmd and Z on a Mac, to undo it.

Words explained

Block: one piece of a page, such as a paragraph, a heading or a picture.

Block editor: the tool you use to change a page.
