In writing

In a few words

Pictures make your pages friendlier, and a menu helps visitors find their way. Make your pictures a sensible size before you upload them, and always fill in the alt text, which is a short description of the picture. Then go to Appearance, then Menus, and put your pages in the order you want.

Words explained

Alt text: a short description of a picture, for people who cannot see it.

Menu: the list of links at the top of your website.

LairdSkills is under construction

I'm still building the lessons, so some pages are placeholders for now. The full courses are coming soon.

You're welcome to look around while I finish.
