In writing

In a few words

A button is a small promise. The words on it tell someone what will happen when they click. Good button text starts with an action and is specific, such as Book a free call. Vague words like Submit or Click here make people hesitate, and hesitating people leave.

Words explained

Button: a clickable shape that takes the reader somewhere or makes something happen.

Call to action: the words that ask the reader to take a step.

LairdSkills is under construction

I'm still building the lessons, so some pages are placeholders for now. The full courses are coming soon.
